UAE airports to receive record 150 million passengers this year, says Sheikh Mohammed

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, shared insights on the UAE’s tourism success via the X platform during his visit to the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai.
He said: "During my tour today at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, which brings together 166 countries and 55,000 global travel and tourism professionals, I am proud to announce that the UAE has achieved unprecedented tourism performance. Last year, the UAE recorded a historic milestone by welcoming 30.7 million tourists. Total tourism spending reached approximately Dhs250 billion. This year, our airports are also set to achieve a record number of 150 million passengers.”
His Highness added: “When tourists flock to your country, businesses move towards your nation, and investors inject capital into your economy, we know we are on the right path and that our model is among the best globally. We congratulate ourselves, our President, and our people that our country has become a global destination, recognised worldwide.”
