The National Search and Rescue Centre of the National Guard, in co-ordination with the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), carried out an air ambulance mission for an injured man in his forties who suffered a sudden health problem while in the Sultanate of Oman.
Thanks to the co-operation and support of the Omani authorities, the injured man was airlifted from the Sultanate of Oman to Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in the UAE for further medical treatment after receiving treatment at Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah, Oman.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs thanked the Omani authorities for their efforts and prominent role in supporting the UAE Embassy in Muscat, which contributed to the success of the air ambulance mission.
