Saudi Arabia announces Friday as the first day of Dhu Al-Hijjah, June 16 will be Eid Al Adha

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced that Friday is the beginning of the month of Dhu-Hijjah, and Arafat will be on Saturday, corresponding to 15/6/2024, according to what was reported by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
Thus, Sunday, June 16, will be the first day of Eid Al-Adha.
Earlier in the day, the Supreme Court in Saudi Arabia called on all parts of the Kingdom to investigate the sighting of the crescent of the month of Dhu Al-Hijjah on Thursday, the twenty-ninth of the month of Dhu Al-Qi’dah of this year 1445 AH.
