Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) closed Al Karak Spot Cafeteria in Abu Dhabi, holding the commercial licence (CN-2729092), for violating Law No2 of 2008 regarding food in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the legislation issued pursuant thereto, as well as for its danger to public health.

The food control report stated that the administrative closure was due to the cafeteria’s violation of food safety requirements, which causes a direct impact on food safety, as insects were detected in the food preparation area, ADAFSA explained, affirming that the closure will continue as long as the reasons for it are still there, and that the cafeteria can resume work after the violations are corrected, it fulfills all the requirements necessary to resume work, and the causes of the violation are eliminated.

The Authority appealed to the all to contact it and report any violations observed in any food facility or when there are any suspicions about the contents of food by calling the Abu Dhabi Government toll-free number (800555) so that ADAFSA’s inspectors will take the necessary action.
