The Sharjah City Municipality confirmed that it would not issue public parking violations of all kinds during the recent depression that the country witnessed, based on its keenness to take into account the general conditions and help the public in overcoming the depression and its effects, and to consolidate its humanitarian and societal.

Obaid Saeed Al Tunaiji, Director General of the Sharjah City Municipality and Chairman of the Supreme Emergency Committee, confirmed that the municipality made great efforts to deal with the repercussions of the air depression and mobilized its cadres and mechanisms to enhance the flow of traffic and preserve lives and property. It also played a humanitarian and societal role by providing many services to those affected, whether in their homes or those affected.

On public streets, they move broken down vehicles to a safe place and help them reach their homes.

In line with this role, Al-Tunaiji confirmed that the municipality did not issue any public parking violations in all their forms during the low weather, such as parking without paying fees, reserving more than one parking space, or parking in reserved parking lots, and other violations, to help the public.

He noted that the Sharjah City Municipality has not and will not issue public parking violations in areas affected by weather until a full return to normal, as these areas are witnessing major field and immediate efforts to withdraw floodwaters and complete cleaning operations and other measures to restore their splendor and aesthetic and cultural appearance.
