Sharjah puts up rain-affected residents in hotels in the emirate

Director of the Government Communications Department at Sharjah Housing, Ahmed Rashid Al Naqbi, announced to the “Direct Line” programme that all families affected by the adverse weather conditions would be accommodated in hotels across the Emirate.
Al-Naqbi explained that meals were provided to the families, and health and treatment follow-up was provided to them, confirming that they are in good health.
He pointed out that as soon as the weather improves, engineering teams will be sent to inspect the damage to the homes and restoration work will begin.
He pointed out that a recovery committee will look after the welfare of the affected families.
