UAE condemns targeting of Iranian Diplomatic Mission

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, the United Arab Emirates condemned the targeting of the Iranian diplomatic mission in the Syrian capital, Damascus.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian called on the international community to act after the Israeli attack on an Iranian consulate in Damascus killed a senior Guards commander and others.

An Israeli airstrike destroyed the consular section of Iran’s embassy in Syria, killing a senior Iranian military adviser and several others, Syrian officials and state media said on Monday.
