A second wave of unstable weather conditions will prevail in the UAE from late on Thursday until next Sunday and will reach its peak on Saturday.

These unstable weather conditions will affect most areas across the country, extending from the west to the east and north, according to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Meanwhile, rains of varying intensity fell on separate areas across the country on Monday as a result of the unstable weather conditions that would continue until Wednesday.

Drizzles to moderate rains fell on Sheikh Khalifa Road towards Al Hamra and Madinat Zayed in Al Dhafra Region, on Al Hayer, Nahel, Sweihan in Al Ain, on Al Ajban in Abu Dhabi and on Ghalilah in Ras Al Khaimah, while drizzles fell on Al Maktoum International Airport in Dubai, Emirates Bypass Road towards Dubai and Al Seyouh in Sharjah.

The lowest temperature of seven degrees Celsius was recorded on Monday morning in Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah.

The NCM called on motorists to take caution while driving under rain and to stay away from large puddles and flooded valleys.

Tuesday’s weather is expected to be dusty and cloudy in general with rains falling on separate areas across the country and a drop in temperature.
