His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Saturday congratulated those who celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year in the world of the New Year via “X” platform in Chinese.

His Highness said, “Today, 10 February 2024, is the Chinese Lunar New Year, marking the beginning of the Year of the Dragon, and we extend our best wishes to the People's Republic of China. This auspicious year symbolises strength, prosperity and good fortune. We wish for the continued development and success of this extraordinary country with its diverse cultural heritage, strong political influence and significant economic and intellectual contributions to the world. We wish the Chinese community in our country and the millions of Chinese around the world a happy and prosperous new year! We wish them all the best! #HappyNewYear.”
