Emirati food parcels distributed to over 34,000 displaced people in Gaza

The Emirati humanitarian institutions distributed food parcels to 34,325 displaced people in Gaza on Friday. The Emirates Red Crescent team in Rafah Governorate distributed 2,604 food parcels, from which 15,744 people benefitted.

These included 400 parcels in the Saudi District, 550 parcels in Bahr Al Mawasi area, 700 parcels in Tal Al Sultan District, 550 parcels in Canada District and 400 parcels in Al Salam District, east of Rafah.

The Emirates Red Crescent team also installed 25 tents in Rafah Tal Al-Sultan, west of the city of Khaled bin Al Walid District, from which 150 beneficiaries benefited.

The Emirates Red Crescent affirmed its keenness to stand by the Palestinian brothers in Gaza Strip, support them, and enhance their ability to confront the current circumstances and mitigate cruelty of these circumstances.

The beneficiaries expressed their deep thanks and appreciation to the leadership and people of the UAE for this great aid and humanitarian gesture, stressing that the aid and tents came at the right time, to assist them face the very tough circumstances they are facing.
