Ras Al Khaimah offers 50% cut on public fines to mark UAE’s 52nd National Day

The Public Service Department in Ras Al Khaimah, on Monday announced a 50 per cent discount on public fines in the emirate. The discount will continue valid until end of December 2023, the Department added.

The move, which comes on the occasion of the UAE’s 52nd National Day, is part of the Department’s ongoing efforts to promote awareness and culture of environmental responsibility.

Khalid Fadl Al Ali, Director-General of the Public Service Department, said that the initiative aims to please the community members on the National Day’s celebrations and to encourage them to pay the fines associated with public violations, taking into account their social and economic circumstances.

In addition, the Department seeks to promote development, ease their work and not disrupt their interests, Khalid Fadl Al Ali added, calling for benefiting from the discount on fines before end of December.
