A number of areas in the country witnessed medium to heavy rain with hail, the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported.

It has also expected chances of rain over scattered areas in the country until next Monday, with a decrease in temperatures as a result of the country being affected by a surface low-pressure system, accompanied by an extension of an upper-air low-pressure system.

The Friday’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, accompanied with some cumulus cloud formation, associated with rainfall over scattered areas, with a decrease in temperatures.

It is also expected to be humid by night and Saturday morning over some coastal and inland areas.

The winds will be light to moderate, southeasterly to northeasterly, and fresh to strong at times with clouds formation.

Blowing at a speed of 15 – 30 reaching 55 km/h, the winds may stir dust and sand, so the horizontal visibility is expected to be low.

The sea will be moderate, becoming rough at times with clouds formation in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.

The weather is expected to be partly cloudy in general, with a chance of cumulus clouds over some northern, eastern, and coastal areas associated with rainfall.

It will be humid by night and Sunday morning over some coastal and inland areas with a probability of mist formation especially westward.

The winds will be light to moderate, northeasterly to northwesterly, and freshening at times at a speed of 15 – 25 reaching 40 km/h with clouds formation, blowing dust and sand. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.

The Sunday’s  weather is expected to be partly cloudy in general, with a chance of cumulus clouds formation might be associated with rainfall over some eastern areas.
