NCM predicts rain for next four days, lowest temperature recorded at 9.9°C

The lowest temperature recorded in the country on Monday was 9.9°C in Rakna area in the city of Al Ain at 6:45 am.

The UAE National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported. Other areas in the country also witnessed low temperatures on Monday,such as Damtha and Al Marmoom where temperature reached 13°C, 13.1°C in Lahbab and 13.7°C in Al Dhaid, the NCM added.

It has also expected that the weather on Tuesday will be fair to partly cloudy.

The clouds may tower over some western areas. Humid by night and Wednesday morning over some western areas.

The winds are expected to be moderate, northeasterly to southeasterly, freshening at times, blowing at a speed of 10 – 20 reaching up to 35 km/h.

The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.

The Wednesday’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy in general with chance of cumulus clouds formation over some eastern and coastal areas with a probability of rainfall.

The winds will be light to moderate and freshening at times, southeasterly to northeasterly, blowing at a speed of 15 – 25 reaching up to 35 km/h. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman.

The NCM has also expected that the weather on Thursday will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a chance of some cumulus clouds formation associated with rainfall over scattered areas of the country. Temperature tends to decrease.

The winds will be light to moderate, southeasterly to northeasterly and fresh to strong at times with clouds stirring dust and sand, at a speed of 15 – 25 reaching up to 45 km/h.

The sea will be moderate, becoming rough at times with clouds in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman.

The Friday’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy at times with a chance of some cumulus clouds formation associated with rainfall over scattered areas of the country.

It will be also humid by night and Saturday morning over some coastal and internal areas. The winds will be light to moderate, southeasterly to northeasterly winds and fresh to strong at times with clouds stirring dust and sand, with a speed of 15 – 30 reaching up to 50 km/h.

The sea will be moderate, becoming rough at times with clouds in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Sea of Oman.
