Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, Commander in Chief of Sharjah Police, honoured a student Ali Mohammed Bin Hareb Al Muhairi in appreciation of his heroic role and quick reaction, as he rescued and treated his schoolmate who swallowed a coin at school.

This came as part of Sharjah Police’s approach and keenness to appreciate cooperators from all age groups, for their positive and effective role in enhancing security and safety.

Al Shamsi praised the remarkable role of Ali Al Muhairi, for his quick reaction and wise behaviour during the sudden and unexpected situation despite his young age.

"Humanitarian duty and societal responsibility are acquired in a sound educational environment, stressing that the student is the best example of good education and upbringing," he added.

On his part, Ali’s father expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Sharjah Police General Command for the honour, stressing that social responsibility falls on all parents who have a duty to instill these principles and teach them to their children so that they will be part of a security-conscious society capable of facing and overcoming challenges.
