Dr. Mads Gilbert, a Norwegian doctor who worked his entire life in war ridden conflicts around the world denounced world leaders in a video message, saying “when are you going to stop this?” after Israeli forces bombed Shifa hospital complex.

Gilbert said, “President Biden, President Biden, President Biden, Mr. Blinken, Mr. Blinken, can you hear me, Prime Ministers and Presidents of the European countries, can you hear me, can you hear the screams from Shifa Hospital, from Al Quds Hospital, can you hear the screams from innocent people, refugees, sheltering, trying to find a safe place, being bombed by the Israeli attack forces this morning inside the hospitals, hospitals that are the temples of humanity and protection.

"When are you going to stop this?
You're all complicit.”

Gilbert worked for decades in Palestine with Doctors Without Borders and is a recognised and renowned voice for human rights in Norway.

In his plea, he called on the US and Europe to intervene in the genocide. His call for a ceasefire painted a grim picture of the situation in Gaza.

His desperate plea for intervention underscores the urgency of the situation and the need for immediate action to prevent further ethnic-cleansing and loss of life.

Palestinian health minister said that 39 babies are at risk of death in Al Shifa hospital as electricity cut off with lack of oxygen and medicine.

The spokesperson for the Gaza health ministry said that operations in Al Shifa hospital complex, the largest in the Palestinian enclave, were suspended on Saturday after it ran out of fuel
"As a result, one newborn baby died inside the incubator, where there are 45 babies," Ashraf Al-Qidra, the spokesman for the Health Ministry told Reuters.

Israel's prime minister pushed back against growing calls from Western allies to do more to protect Palestinian civilians, as troops closed in on Gaza's largest hospital that Israel claims is Hamas' main command post but still hosts thousands of patients and people seeking shelter.
