Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) in collaboration with Sharjah City Municipality, has introduced an innovative, proactive service that simplifies the process of closing accounts and issuing No Objection Certificate (NOC).

“Now, when a customer receives a no-objection certificate (NOC) from the municipality for vacating a property, an automatic process is initiated in SEWA's system,” Hussain Askar, Manager of Customer Service Department, said.

He continued, “This process eliminates the need to submit any application or additional documents to the authority. Once activated, the system efficiently issues a clearance, and the customer's deposit is promptly transferred to their bank account upon receipt of their IBAN details.”

Askar also pointed out that the proactive service is aimed at simplifying transaction processes, saving customers' time and effort, bolstering trust in effective governmental services, enhancing customer satisfaction, and attracting investors to engage in ventures within Sharjah.
