The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the necessity of an immediate ceasefire to prevent bloodshed, and not to target civilians and civilian institutions, stressing the importance of civilians enjoying full protection under international humanitarian law and international treaties that guarantee their protection and human rights and the necessity of not being the target of conflict.
The campaign will organize new events on Thursday, November 9, at the Emirates Hospitality Hall in Ajman, and on Sunday, November 12, at the Abu Dhabi Ports Hall in Mina Zayed, under the supervision of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, from 9am to 2pm.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) stressed that the immediate priority is to preserve the lives of civilians and provide full protection of organisations and civilian facilities, and ensure the immediate, safe, sustainable, and unhindered delivery of humanitarian, relief and medical aid to the Palestinians.
The UAE mission to the Security Council stated through its account in X: “In light of our deep concern over Israel’s resumption of hostilities and the continuing deteriorating humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, the UAE urgently called for closed consultations for the Security Council on Monday, December 4.”
