The Muscat-Abu Dhabi public bus service will be resumed as of first of October-2023, Mwasalat, the Oman's national transport company, announced on Monday via X platform.

The bus route from Muscat to the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, passing through Al Ain city will be back to service from next month after it had been suspended temporarily due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, the service was continued earlier between Dubai and Muscat.

Tickets are booked directly through Mwasalat’s official website.

The one-way ticket from Muscat to Abu Dhabi costs Dhs109. It takes around 5 hours.

Luggage allowance per ticket is 23 kilograms, with additionally hand baggage allowance of 7 kilograms that passenger can carry on board, Mwasalat said.
