The UAE's successful participation in the 18th G20 Summit has highlighted the country's global stature and its efforts to drive global action to ensure a brighter tomorrow for generations to come, crowning the UAE's active efforts in the G20 summit, working groups and meetings.
The UAE succeeded in being an influential guest during the G20 summit under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
The UAE witnessed the announcement of the establishment of an economic “corridor” linking the Republic of India, the Middle East and Europe, and Sheikh Mohamed was praised by US President Joe Biden, for his role when he thanked UAE President during the announcement of the projects, saying, “Thank you... The country’s participation in the summit’s agenda included a declaration to establish an Economic Corridor linking India to the Middle East and Europe.

The participating entities from the UAE worked side by side with their counterparts from the G20 countries, to coordinate with regard to the group's priorities and goals.
The UAE entities were distinguished by providing exceptional case studies on the most recent and successful practices in the country, related to development, public policies, regulations and legislation published by the group in various scopes and reports.
They reflected the development achieved by the UAE in various fields, and their participation provided many opportunities for coordination between the various government agencies and institutions, in the latest development and development trends that are applicable in the state.

The UAE views the G20 as a forum that plays a decisive role in multilateral efforts, with its focus on global financial issues. Her role as guest of honour in the G20 was strengthened in previous sessions, through a commitment to economic cooperation, ensuring the stability of global energy markets, and acting as a reliable supplier of energy, as the UAE continues to double its pioneering business efforts in the clean energy sector, and develop ambitious strategies to achieve climate neutrality by 2050.
The UAE’s participation in the group is of great importance to the country, due to the challenges facing the global economy, and the economies of developing countries in particular, as well as the UAE’s active role in strengthening the global economy, as it is a reliable, responsible and major energy supplier, and in ensuring the stability of global energy markets, as well as Its ambitious plans to innovate and invest in clean energy.
This comes within the framework of its keenness on constructive joint action regionally and internationally, providing all support to stability and development efforts, and doubling its commitments to effective global action to achieve these goals, especially since the G20, which granted permanent membership to the African Union, plays a decisive role in multilateral efforts, by focusing On global financial files and issues, especially as it is an international forum that includes the largest developed and developing economies in the world.
Dr. Atiq Jakah Al Mansouri, Professor of Politics at the UAE University, confirmed that His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed is a leadership figure with a global presence, and world leaders have recognized his pivotal role, in various forums and in various strategic transformational projects.

The UAE played a part in the launch of the Global Biofuel Alliance on 9th September, 2023, on the sidelines of the G20 Summit. The alliance seeks to accelerate global efforts to achieve net-zero goals by facilitating trade in biofuels derived from natural sources.
During India's presidency of the G20, the UAE participated in about 25 meetings held throughout the year within the various tracks.
