Emirati elite aerobatic flying team Fursan Al Emarati of the UAE Air Force performed impressive manoeuvres during the aviation event 11th Athens Flying Week over Tanagra air base in Schimatari, north of Athens.

In the flawless organisation and successful displays, often involving breathtaking aerobatic flying skills that challenge the laws of nature and the forces of gravity, the Fursan performed a program of masterful and often daring flypast captivating the audiences and receiving a standing ovation.

The Fursan Al Emarat, the highly skilled aerobatics demonstration team of the United Arab Emirates Air Force, is often seen at home twirling through the sky in a series of breathtaking manoeuvers, offering a view of the city like never seen before.

Spectators were also thrilled by the flight of the iconic Fursan, which for years had been training and putting up an impressive show at Flying Weeks across the world.

The 11th Athens Flying Week saw the presence from crews and aircraft of all kinds, from latest generation warplanes — such as the American F-35, the French Rafale and the Greek F-16 — to airships, parachutes and model aircraft. The Athens Flying Week is the largest aviation event in southeastern Europe, taking place on the weekend of September 2nd and 3rd at Tanagra Air Base.
