Nasa postpones Al Neyadi's return to Earth due to bad weather, new date set for Sept.4

Nasa announced on Friday that the return of the crew of the International Space Station, Crew 6, which includes Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi, to Earth has been postponed due to bad weather conditions at the location of the crew’s return on the coast of Florida.

NASA said: “Due to bad weather conditions at the location of the crew’s return on the coast of Florida, the separation of the Dragon spacecraft from the International Space Station has been postponed,” noting that “the next window for separation begins on Sunday, September 3, at 03:05pm UAE time, and they will reach Earth on Monday, September 4 at 08:07 AM, UAE time, according to the International Astronomy Center.

On the other hand, through three words in three different languages  عائلة Family семья (Arabic, Russian and English), Sultan Al Neyadi described his family in the International Space Station, which brings together 11 astronauts from 5 different nationalities, namely the UAE, America, Russia, Denmark and Japan.

Despite the different cultures of the station's inhabitants, they represent one family, united by a higher goal, which is to serve humanity on Earth.

On X platform, Al Neyadi shared two photos of him with his fellow astronauts in the “69” mission, who appeared with happiness overwhelmed them.

The crew members include, along with the Emirati astronaut, Frank Rubio, Dmitry Petelin, Sergey Prokopyev, Stephen Bowen, Warren Hoberg, and Andrey Vidyaev, while the “Crew 7” mission includes asmin Moghbeli, Andreas Mogensen, Satoshi Furukawa and Konstantin Borisov.
