At least four 4 people were killed and 5 others were injured in a tragic traffic accident late on Monday evening as a result of a two-vehicle race on a public road in Al Wasatiya / Hofa area in Irbid Governorate, northern Jordan.

The injuries included pedestrians who were on the side of the road. Their condition is serious and they are receiving medical treatment at Princess Basma Hospital, the officer added.
