A video has gone viral of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s aide getting pushed away by security guard from entering the BRICS Summit meeting hall after the president.

The video showed the Chinese official was seen lagging behind Jinping at the summit in South Africa.

However, an attempt to catch up with the president made the security personnel suspicions of his intention.

As the aide was about to enter after the president, the security official jumped in and forcefully barred him from going inside.

The security personnel then forcibly shuts the door surprising Jinping, who turned around several times to find out what was going on.

The hilarious moment has gone viral on all social media platforms.

Jinping called for unity among his BRICS counterparts at the summit as he pushed the case for expanding the grouping to face a global "period of turbulence and transformation".

Leaders of the bloc of leading developing nations Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa are meeting in Johannesburg with discussions around establishing a framework and criteria for admitting new members topping the agenda.
