Life has returned to normal between Ismail Ozdemir and his son, the famous Turkish chef, Burak, after the recent escalation of the crisis between them.

The son accused his father of selling the rights of his restaurant’s name without his knowledge for $41 million to a foreign businessman.

Yemeni businessman Hamid Al-Maqtari shared a video clip on Instagram, documenting the moments of reconciliation between Chef Burak and his father, where the trio appeared after the completion of the reconciliation.

Al-Maqtari said: “My beloved Burak and his dear father... Today I reconciled between the son and his father. I ask God for success and success for them.”

He continued, directing his speech to Burak: “Burak, my love, the most important thing is you and Baba. There is a Yemeni proverb that says blood never becomes water, and you and Baba are the most important thing, my love. May God protect you both.”

Ismail Ozdemir praised what Al-Maqtari said, saying: “Hamid is one of the good people, and our friend for ten or fifteen years,” while Burak only smiled and greeted the followers with his hand.

Chef Burak, owner of the CZN Burak restaurant chain, had accused his father of secretly defrauding him, and that he had sold the rights to exploit his name, i.e. Burak, to a foreign businessman without his knowledge, stressing that he would continue his career in the world of cooking on his own.

He also indicated, in a video clip that he no longer owns any restaurant under his name, except for one restaurant in Istanbul, saying: "I hope you will not be deceived by the thieves who take advantage of my name and image."
