The Abu Dhabi Family, Civil and Administrative Cases Court ordered a man to pay a woman Dhs5,000, as compensation for disturbance with repeated phone calls. In details, a woman filed a lawsuit demanding that a man be obliged to pay her an amount of Dhs50,000 for the hurt she suffered, with a legal interest of 12 per cent from the date of the final judgment until full payment.

The plaintiff also demanded to oblige the defendant to pay fees and expenses. In the lawsuit, the woman stated that the defendant had misused means of telecommunication and disturbed her several times by calling her repeatedly on her phone.
