How can foreigners check the validity and reliability of UAE entry permits and e-Visas?

The Federal Authority for Identity and Nationality, Customs and Ports Security answers this question.

The Federal Authority clarifies that the smart portal through its website enables customers to verify the authenticity and reliability of electronic visas via

The smart portal enables customers to verify the authenticity and reliability of permits and visas, by searching for the validity of files and documents by file number, document information or passport, and choosing the type in terms of residency or visa, in addition to entering information such as nationality, date of birth, and the UAE unified number.

Entrance permission

If you have obtained a visa or entry permit issued by Dubai, you can verify its validity on the website of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs via the link https://www.gdrfad.gov.ae/en

It is also possible to inquire about the status of residency or visa and entry permits from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, and to track visas and entry permits for sponsored persons through the “Dubai Now” application.

As for visas or entry permits issued by Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, or Fujairah, you can verify their validity through the electronic platform of the Federal Authority for Identity, Nationality, Customs and Ports Security via the link https://smartservices.icp.gov.ae/echannels/web/client/default.html#/login
