Owners of stores affected by the recent winds and rains in Sharjah can benefit from the ‘To Whom It May Concern’ certificate issued by Sharjah Police by presenting the same to the respective insurance companies for compensation, said Brigadier General Youssef Bin Harmoul, Director of the Comprehensive Police Stations Department at the Sharjah Police.

The certificate, which can be obtained online through Sharjah Police smart app, will serve the people whose stores and vehicles have been damaged by the recent weather fluctuations in the emirate, he added.

The smart app will enable the affected people to obtain the service by following a number of steps, which include clicking the ‘Police Services’ icon and then selecting ‘To Whom It May Concern’ certificate and the ‘Criminal’ option in the certificate category field.

The user must also fill in all the required fields including the damage data, location, date and related photos as well as the vehicle ownership in the case of damaged vehicles, and the data of the insurance company.

As soon as the procedures have been completed, the transaction number is emailed to customers, enabling them to complete other requirements for obtaining the certificate.

Meanwhile, Sharjah Police called on the public to download their app available on all smart phone stores to benefit from the services provided through it.
