Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi and his colleagues aboard the International Station participated in the first “Space Ball Throwing” tournament.

The video clip posted on Twitter with the caption, “During the weekends, we sometimes spend our time playing games. It is one of our favourite activities to do together 🙌🏽

These games are the perfect way to unwind after work and prepare ourselves for the tasks ahead.”

In the game, a participant has to pass the ball through the small ring number of times to win.

Along with Al Neyadi, Andrei Vidyaveev and Sergey Prokopyev from Russia, and Stephen Bowen from the United States of America participated in the tournament.

Al Neyadi appeared enthusiastic about winning where he was in the lead in the tournament, but he was not lucky in the last throw.

Prokopiev was announced the winner at the end of the tournament and everyone congratulated him.

Astronauts have two days off every weekend, which they can spend as they like, such as reading, playing games or getting together to learn about the cultures of their fellow countries.
