No other animal perhaps arouses instant awe and fear as the lion, the much-touted king of the jungle. It is truly majestic in its deportment, and nowhere is this truly illustrated than in the Disney classic The Lion King. But if a city-bred inhabitant like you were to encounter a lion up close and personal, would you bolt like Usain Bolt, thinking you would be ‘mane’ meat?

Taking to your heels is the first reaction.

However, far from running away from the royal creature and becoming a dish for it, a woman was bold enough to share a meal of meat with a lion, as a video that went viral on social media has shown. And it has happened in the most happening of places: the UAE!

The video shows the Queen of Bravery sharing a plate of meat with the King of the Jungle. Neither is affected by each other’s presence as the lion chomps on the raw non-vegetarian dish while the woman daintily takes her share of cooked meat, according to a report in a section of the Indian media.

The meal sharing episode was captured by the Ras Al Khaimah Zoo authorities and posted on their Instagram site. ‘No other place on earth can make you do this, only here (RAK Zoo),’ the legend read.

The video created ripples among many Net buffs, notching up over 3.7 million views.

One user wrote, “Can’t wait to come and visit!”
