Al Ain Court of First Instance ordered a person to pay Dhs200,000 to another, after the latter borrowed it from him, through bank transfers, but when he asked him to return the amount, he refused and failed to appear in court to take the decisive oath, despite being informed.

The complainant had filed a lawsuit against a person, and asked to obligate him to pay him Dhs200,000, besides the fees and expenses of the lawsuit, explaining that the appellee borrowed from him Dhs200,000 and when he asked him to return the amount, he was late in paying.

The court clarified that it contacted the appellant who asked to hear the evidence witness and direct the decisive oath to the appellee to swear that he did not borrow Dhs200,000 from him to start a new project, but the appellee failed to appear in court, despite being informed by text messages.

The court stated that the appellee failed to appear to take the oath despite being informed and then obligated him to return the amount to the complainant.
