The Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at the Sharjah Police launched an initiative called the “One Day Test” tailored for national service recruits and high school graduates. The initiative will integrate the preliminary and city tests on the same day, allowing applicants to give the tests on the same day.

This initiative translates the Sharjah Police’s efforts to ensure customer satisfaction and happiness Colonel Khaled Mohamed Al Kay, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, keenness of the Sharjah Police to develop the services offered to the public and to enable customers complete their transactions through hassle-free procedures.

Colonel Al Kay also pointed out that the initiative will continue until end of September and that the service will be held in two phases (electronic and on-site). He explained that the first phase would be completed electronically via the “MoI” smart application without the need for in-person attendance.

Applicant should open a file for a new driver's license through the application and then attend all theory classes online. After passing theory test online, applicant will be eligible to the next phase, which requires in-person attendance. It includes practical training. Following completion of training and meeting the required conditions, the final test date will have both the preliminary and city tests on the same day.

The Sharjah Police call on the national service recruits and high school graduates to take advantage of the initiative, which will continue until the end of September 2023, and to save the time and effort in obtaining a driver's license.
