Sharjah Police honour man for returning a lost wallet full of money

Colonel Abdullah Rashid Alai Al Naqbi, Head of Wasit Comprehensive Police Station in Sharjah, honoured Malak Mohammed Salim Awan, Asian, in recognition of his cooperation with the police, his honesty and good behaviour.

Malak found a wallet, containing official documents and a sum of money, and handed it over to the police station with the aim of finding its owner and returning it to him.

Colonel Abdullah Al Naqbi praised the honesty of Malak, and his good behaviour, which contributed to the return of the lost items to their owner.

“This honour comes within the methodology of Sharjah Police in activating the role of societal partnership for collaborators with policemen for their positive role that contributes to maintaining security and safety in society,” Colonel Al Naqbi added.

He called upon the society members to contribute to social responsibility, and to cooperate with police in emergency cases via the number 999 and in non-emergency cases via 901.

Recently, Brigadier Arif Hassan Hudaib, Director of Media and Public Relations Department at the Sharjah Police, honoured the student Bisan Mohammed Feras Othman, in appreciation of her fruitful cooperation with the Media and Public Relations Department, which contributed to enriching the “Little Policeman” magazine with scientific and cultural topics for children, in addition to her participation in local and international events and exhibitions in which Sharjah Police participate.

Brigadier Hudaib praised Bissan’s efforts and her keenness to play her societal role to the fullest, pointing out that this honouring came within the Sharjah Police’s keenness to appreciate and encourage the talented and distinguished members of society, and empowering them as a partner in social responsibility.

Brigadier Hudaib urged her to continue harnessing her skills in various intellectual fields which serve the development process of the emirate and the UAE.

Bissan expressed her appreciation and thanked Media and Public Relations Department for the honouring.
