4 jailed, fined Dhs6,100 for stealing 8 phones from Al Quoz warehouse

The Dubai Criminal Court sent an Asian gang of 4 to jail for 3 months and fined them jointly Dhs6,100 for being convicted of robbing a warehouse in Al Quoz Industrial Area and stealing 8 phones.
They all will be deported after serving their sentences.
The details of the case date back to October 2022, when a female employee at a warehouse for a trading company discovered, on the morning of the incident, a break in the external door of the warehouse, so she reported the incident to the police.
The employee said that she saw the outer door of the warehouse not properly closed and its lock broken, so she entered to find everything in the place scattered and discovered that 8 phones had been stolen.
She added that when she checked the surveillance cameras, she saw 4 masked people entering the warehouse, stealing phones, and then fleeing the place in a vehicle.
A policeman said in the interrogations that an investigation team identified and arrested the owner of the vehicle, who confessed to the crime and guided the police to the other suspects who were arrested also. On being questioned, they confessed to their crime
