His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, directed to re-study the development of parks in the city of Kalba and all cities of the emirate, and to provide them with all services.

This was announced by Engineer Ali Bin Shaheen, Head of the Public Works Department in Sharjah, through the direct line programme, aired on Sharjah Radio and Television.

Bin Shaheen said that Sheikh Sultan's directives came quickly in response to the complaints of one of the callers, who complained that Sidra Park in the city of Kalba lacks many services and needs maintenance.

He added that all Kalba parks will be reviewed and provided with service facilities which meet the needs of the people. He noted that coordination will be made with the municipalities in this regard, in addition to studying the development of parks in all cities of the emirate.

He also indicated that it is planned to provide toilets for women and men in every corner of the Fountains Square in Khorfakkan, and the contractor will start implementing that directly.
