These days seeing a world class leader up and close without any security details and with no barriers put between the leader and the crowd can happen just in dreams.

But wait, there is a leader who has made it a habit to make peoples dream come true and he is none other than His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Sheikh Mohammed in past has surprised motorists on roads, diners at restaurants and shoppers at a fruit market.

On Monday shoppers at Mall of Emirates in Dubai were in for a surprise of their life when they watched Sheikh Mohammed casually walking into the Mall.

There was no security hustle and bustle ahead of his arrival, there was no barricading, in fact he strolled past Carrefour, a pharmacy, and a kiosk at the Mall just like a common shopper.

Few shoppers were quick to recognise the leader and took out their phones to capture this one in a lifetime happening.

Khalid Bin Thani, a social media influencer, was one of them, who recorded the moment and shared the video on social media.

Khalid said that he was with his family at the mall when they saw the Ruler walking in “without guards and closing lanes and roads, as is the case in most countries".

According to Khalid this speaks volumes about the popularity of Sheikh Mohammed among the common people.

“And why not when the Ruler just and every customer gets his right and the doors of complaints are open to all and they are answered as soon as possible, people will shower their love on such leaders.”
