A mother-daughter duo in cabin crew won hearts with a special Mother’s Day in-flight announcement in India.
The video shows an IndiGo flight attendant and her mother, who also happens to be a cabin crew member of the same airline, during Mother's Day in India, which falls on May 14.
Social media was abuzz with adorable posts highlighting the special bond a child and mother share.
IndiGo also shared a video clip of the flight attendant with her mother.
It said, “Happy Mother's Day to the one who's always had my back, on the ground and in the air. #HappyMothersDay #goIndiGo #IndiaByIndiGo.”
The flight attendant began introducing herself to the passengers as Nabira Sashmi, then introduced her mother and pointed to her, saying, "This is the first time we both are on the same plane in uniform as flight attendants."
The mother said, “I hope my daughter is proud of me today.”
The mother kissed her daughter, shedding tears of joy.
The passengers were seen cheering and applauding the duo.
IndiGo later wrote, “Their love and dedication created magic, both in the skies and in our hearts.
“We're blessed to witness this exceptional mother-daughter moment in the skies. Wishing everyone a very #HappyMothersDay.”
