An Asian woman killed her husband while he was sleeping after she tied him with adhesive tape and she slew his neck with a knife twice and stabbed him in the chest.

Later, she went to the police station and confessed killing her husband and her involvement in indecent acts.

The police referred the woman to the public prosecution and from there to the Dubai Criminal Court, which sentenced her to 10 years in jail for murder and six months for engagement in sexual activities to be followed by deportation.

The case dates back to April last year when an Asian woman entered a police station to report that she had committed a murder and been engaged in indecent acts.

According to her statement, she killed her husband while he was sleeping after restricting his movement over his repeated assaults, especially after she told him that she was pregnant.

Her husband got angry because he did not want to have a baby, and the relationship between them deteriorated as he kept assaulting her with his belt and insulting her continuously, she added.

Her husband was in the habit of drinking alcoholic beverages and had an illegal affair with two women, she said, adding that around 15 days before the murder, he brought a woman to her place of residence and had sex with her in her presence.

According to the official documents and the defendant’s statement, while the woman and her husband were in their bedroom in the morning of the incident, the victim drank alcoholic beverages and assaulted her before he brought his girlfriend and then fell asleep.

The defendant thought about what was happening with her and how her husband was treating and assaulting her. She subsequently used an adhesive tape to restrict her husband’s movement and brought a knife, which she used to cut vegetables, and slaughtered him.

She then stabbed him in the chest before he got up and took the knife and while he was trying to stab her, he cut his hand and she fled away and reported what happened to the police.

According to the forensic lab report, the victim succumbed to his multiple injuries that included a stab wound in the lower right part of the neck and a cut in the middle of the neck, causing sharp cuts in the skin and superficial muscles of the neck in addition to limited bleeding in the thoracic cavity, lungs, and tracheal wall.
