He is just 8 years old, but is already making an impact on the who’s who of international politics – and those seeking climate action. Eight-year-old British boy Aneeshwar Kunchala has made a mark as a fervent campaigner of climate change. He was among the very privileged few to be invited to the ‘Coronation Big Lunch.’ Aneeshwar told Sunak that he would like to attend the 2023 Conference of Parties (COP28) in Dubai.

He tweeted: “I met UK Prime Minister @RishiSunak at @10DowningStreet

 - Coronation Big Lunch. It was pleasure to meet him, his family and others. I have requested if I can represent UK at @COP28_UAE

to save and protect about wildlife.”

At the Coronation Big Lunch, he also met King Charles III and Jill Biden, wife of the American President, to whom he expressed his desire to visit the White House and talk ecological and wildlife protection, according to a report in a section of the Indian media.

Aneeshwar, whose father hails from the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, urges world leaders to involve children in environmental issues and preserving nature.

Since the tender age of 4, Aneeshwar has shown an interest in nature and its preservation and even made a speech in Capitol Hill, addressing Senators.

According to one report, Aneeshwar raised around Rs3.7 lakh (Dhs16,553) towards India’s COVID relief fund by cycling 4,300 kilometres – and he was just 5 years old then!

He wowed the audience in the programme Britain’s Got Talent at the age of 7. He was called ‘Little David Attenborough’ of the programme.
