The cat dressed a baby was caught in Nizhny Tagil, Russia.

Gulf Today Report

The Russian police arrested a woman who was carrying her cat disguised as her baby girl to look like a young mother, but she was hiding drugs in the clothes.

Police spokeswoman Irina Volk said: "The fact is that drug dealers are coming up with all sorts of innovative techniques to transport their drugs without hindrance, and that the unnamed woman was seen walking hand in hand with a little girl and pushing a stroller with what looked like a baby inside."

It is not clear whether the police received a report about the woman, or simply noticed something about her.

When police officers stopped the woman near a holiday resort on the outskirts of the Russian city of Nizhny Tagil, they quickly noticed that while something was moving in the stroller, it was most likely not a child.

The cat in Russian customs custody.

There was no head sticking out of the thick winter clothes, and when they decided to take a closer look, they were shocked to find a cat instead of a child.

It is not easy to pass off a cat as a human baby, but the suspected drug dealer did her best.

Photos and videos released by the Russian Interior Ministry show the cat wearing a baby hat, shorts, little shoes and even a diaper.

But what surprised everyone most was how calm the cat seemed despite its unusual clothes, as if it had been trained.
