The International Astronomy Center published, through its official account on the Twitter site, that until now, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Sultanate of Brunei have announced that Eid Al-Fitr will be on Saturday, April 22, due to the lack of evidence of seeing the crescent on Thursday evening.
The centre added, “This was also announced by the authorities representing Muslims in all countries from Australia, Thailand, Singapore and Japan.
The Astronomy Centre said that numerous photographs of the crescent moon are circulating now on social media sites.
