Moderate to heavy rain and hail fell on separate areas of Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah. The rains caused the valleys in Wadi Al Qor, Masafi and Dafta in Ras Al Khaimah to be flooded.

Heavy rain and hail also fell on Marbadh, Wadi Saham and Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Road in Fujairah, on Masafi and Datah in Ras Al Khaimah and on Khorfakkan road leading to Shees.

Monday’s weather is expected to be clear to partly cloudy with some clouds appearing in the east in the afternoon and a rise in temperature, said the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow at 15 to 25 and up to 35 km/h, while the sea will have regular waves in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Tuesday’s weather is expected to be partly cloudy and dusty at times during the day, turning to cloudy in some western, eastern and possibly coastal areas with a chance of some cumulus clouds accompanied by rains of varying intensity, the NCM added.

Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly winds will blow, turning to active and dust-stirring at times at 10 to 25 and up to 40 km/h, while the sea will have regular to moderate waves in the Arabian Gulf but may become rough at times in the evening in the Sea of Oman.
