Brigadier General Dr Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of the General Department of Central Operations at Sharjah Police, honoured Abdul Aziz Ibrahim Momani, an Iranian national, in appreciation for his honesty.

Momani found Dhs150,000 and handed the same over to the police office at Sharjah Expo Centre.

The honouring ceremony was attended by Colonel Dr Ali Ahmed Abu Al Zawd, Deputy Director of the General Department of Central Operations, and Colonel Ashour Sabt Bin Ashour, Director of Special Tasks Department.

Praising Momani’s honesty, Brigadier General Al Naour stressed that the honouring comes as part of Sharjah Police’s methodology in streamlining community partnership for those who co-operate with the police for their positive role in maintaining security and safety of the society.

Al Naour called on all members of society to follow the honouree’s example and contribute to preserving the society by co-operating and communicating with the police on 999 in emergency cases and 901 in non-emergency cases.
