World leaders greet UAE’s new VP and Abu Dhabi CP

UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday received a phone call from President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of the Republic of Turkey, during which he congratulated him on the new leadership appointments he issued in the UAE and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

President Erdogan prayed to the Almighty Allah that these appointments would contribute to the country’s development and progress, wishing the UAE and its people continued progress and prosperity.

He also expressed his wishes of success for the new leaders in serving their country and its people.

Sheikh Mohamed expressed his thanks to the Turkish president for his congratulations and the sincere feelings he showed towards the UAE leadership and people, wishing Turkey and its friendly people further progress and prosperity.

During the conversation, the two leaders also exchanged Ramadan greetings.
His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, attended an Iftar banquet hosted in his honour by Sheikh Sultan Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President and Chairman of the UAE Camel Racing Federation.

Sheikh Mansour exchanged greetings with attending guests on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The Iftar banquet was attended by Sheikh Rashid Bin Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Presidential Flight; Rear Admiral Pilot Sheikh Saeed Bin Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Commander of the UAE Naval Forces; Sheikh Nahyan Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, and a number of sheikhs, ministers, senior officials and dignitaries.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has sent a cable of congratulation to Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed, upon issuing resolutions and Emiri decrees on new appointments.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed his sincere congratulations, and wished the UAE president success and the government and people of the UAE steady progress and prosperity, highlighting the brotherly bilateral ties between the two countries.

Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also sent a cable of congratulation to Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed.

The Saudi Crown Prince expressed his sincere congratulations, wishing all the new appointees success in serving the UAE to achieve further progress and prosperity.

Bahrain King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa also sent a cable of congratulations to the UAE President, following the issuance of an Emiri decree appointing His Highness Sheikh Khalid Bin Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

The Bahrain King wished UAE President abundant health and happiness so as to continue leading his country’s development march to meet the aspirations of the brotherly UAE people for further progress and prosperity, under his wise leadership.

King Hamad also congratulated Abu Dhabi Crown Prince on his appointment to his post, wishing him every success in serving his brotherly country and contributing to its continued progress and prosperity.

The Bahraini Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa also sent a cable of congratulations to the UAE President.
The Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah also sent a congratulatory cable on Thursday to Sheikh Mansour, expressing his best wishes and success on the new post.

Kuwaiti  Emir also congratulated Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed on assuming the post of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince.
Pakistan’s Prime Minister also congratulated Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed on his appointment as the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.

“As a brotherly country, we look forward to continuing our strong partnership & working together towards a brighter future for our people and the region,” Shahbaz tweeted.

“Heartfelt felicitations from the people and the government of Pakistan on the appointment of His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as the Vice President of the UAE. May this new chapter be filled with success and prosperity for the UAE  and its people.”
