Two-seater propeller plane crashes into house in India, passenger’s video goes viral

In a horrifying moment, a two-seater propeller plane crashed into a residential building after taking off in the Indian state of Jharkhand.

The incident took place in Dhanbad district.

The pilot and a 14-year-old passenger were seriously injured and remain in hospital in a serious condition.

Police said that a propeller plane crashed into the house some 500 metres from Barwadda airstrip in Dhanbad.

Officials related to the Barwadda airstrip suspect a technical snag led to the accident.

However, police said that proper investigation would reveal the real cause of the accident.

A live video feed broadcast by the passenger showed the propeller plane taking off and crashing into the house.

The dramatic video showed the passenger maintaining his cool despite the propeller plane plunging rapidly and only reacting when it hit the house.

The owner of the house no one in his family was injured.

Local media reported that the injured passenger is a native of Patna and arrived in Dhanbad to meet his uncle.

Police reports said that air service is run by a private agency and it was started to let people enjoy Dhanbad from an aerial view.
