Emirati Astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi shared a video of how to make coffee at the International Space Station on Monday.

Neyadi showed his followers on social media platforms how astronauts prepare a cup of coffee for themselves.

Al Neyadi said, “In space as on Earth... the day does not start without coffee… ☕️ This is how I started my first morning on board the International Space Station... I am very excited to meet you in direct contact tomorrow. I wish you a good day!”

The Emirati astronaut explained, “We have a variety of options but today I'm choosing Colombian medium roast coffee,” bringing a packet out of a case that was floating in the zero gravity.

Neyadi said that he would insert the coffee packet to the water dispenser where options of warming the water are available.

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) announced ‘A Call With Space,’ an exclusive event featuring Sultan Al Neyadi on March 21.

The public will have the opportunity to interact live with Sultan, who is currently on the International Space Station (ISS) undertaking the longest Arab space mission in history.

The live session will take place at various venues across all seven emirates of the UAE. The first event is scheduled to be held at the prestigious Dubai Opera at 2:30pm, with doors opening from 2pm onwards.

He said recently, “No matter where I am in the world, my path always leads me home.

“And even from Space, the site of our beautiful country takes my breath away every time,” sharing an image of the planet earth.

Nasa said astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi and his Crew-6 colleagues have started to work on their tasks aboard the ISS.

The four Crew-6 members are two NASA astronauts Stephen Bowen and Warren Hoburg, Russian cosmonaut, Andrey Fedyaev, and Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi.
