A groom from the village of Sultan Gang in the city of Bhagalpur, in the Indian state of Bihar, forgot to attend his wedding after he got drunk and did not regain consciousness until a day later.

The bride said, "You spoiled the fun of the best moment in my life. My family and I waited for you to complete our wedding ceremony, but you did not come. I cannot spend my life with a man who does not pay attention to his responsibilities."

The bride's family demanded that the groom return the money they spent on the wedding arrangements, and the matter did not stop at this point, but escalated to the bride's family holding some of the groom's relatives hostage until the demands were implemented, which necessitated the intervention of the police to settle the dispute between the two families.
