The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) announced that the official working hours during the Month of Ramadan in all the entities, departments and institutions in Dubai will start at 9.00am and will end at 2.30pm, from Monday to Thursday.

On Fridays during Ramadan the working hours will be from 9.00am to 12 at noon. However, there are exceptions for those whose nature of work is not suitable for these timings.

The DGHR said in a circular on this occasion that entities should fix the working hours for employees who work on the shift system or whose jobs are related to the public service or those managing public services facilities in a way that suits the operational requirements of each party, and guarantees the proper performance of the work.

On this occasion, the department congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and to their Highnesses and members of the  Supreme Council.

The department also congratulated the people of the Emirates and residents on the occasion of the blessed Month of Ramadan.
