UAE bridges for people in times of distress are permanent, says Sheikh Mohammed

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met the volunteers taking part in Bridges of Good campaign packing the relief material for people of quake-hit Turkey and Syria.

“I visited today to the Bridges of Good campaign, which provides relief to those affected by the earthquakes in Syria and Turkey,” tweeted Sheikh Mohammed.

“The bridges of goodness that the UAE extends with the people in times of distress are permanent bridges... Bridges that establishes love, communication and solidarity... and elevate brotherhood to noble levels...,” tweeted Sheikh Mohammed.

About 2,000 volunteers including including children, school students, employees from the government and private sectors, businessmen, intellectuals, and others gathered at the Arena Hall of Dubai World Trade Centre on Monday to pack the aid materials.

Residents were asked donate at the Arena Hall of Dubai World Trade Centre on Monday between 9am – 6pm.
