The Abu Dhabi Court of First Instance rejected a lawsuit filed by a woman against a company, demanding that the latter be obligated to pay her Dhs22,000, the amount she allegedly paid as membership fees in a programme for tourist offers, immigration and travel tickets.

She stressed that the company did not comply with the programme and did not provide her with any entertainment offers, products or related services in connection with the membership.

She also demanded to obligate the company to pay the legal interest of 12%, that is Dhs5,000, as well as the expenses and fees of the lawsuit.

The court pointed out that the complainant submitted only a copy of the payment data for the special promotional offer fees and did not provide evidence of her request for any services from the appellee, nor did she provide evidence of the appelle’s refusal to provide her with these services.

Consequently, the court dismissed the case and obligated the complainant to pay the fees and expenses.
