UAE President and VP preside over swearing-in of newly appointed ministers

The President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday presided over the swearing-in of the newly appointed UAE Ministers.

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed wished the newly appointed ministers’ luck and success in their tasks.

He stressed the importance of establishing one team spirit in government work, based on the integration of roles and tasks.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum stressed UAE’s keenness to continuously develop the government work system, to meet the demands of each phase.

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid said “the continuous development of the government work system is our path to success and excellence.”

The swearing-in ceremony of Shamma Bint Suhail Faris Al Mazrui, as the Minister of Community Development; Sheikh Salem Khalid Al Qassimi as the Minister of Culture and Youth; Maryam Al Hammadi, Secretary-General of the UAE Cabinet, as the Minister of State; and Jabr Mohammed Ghanem Al Suwaidi, as the Minister of State, was attended by Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance; Lt. General Sheikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; and Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential court; Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, the Advisor of Special Affairs at the Presidential court.
